My art is an expression of how I interpret the visual and how I represent it in a two or three dimensional form. It is not meant to duplicate or repeat the image I am painting. A piece of me must be incorporated into the painting. When that happens, I feel an immense joy. A quote from Vincent van Gogh, “I am seeking, I am striving. I am in it with all of my heart”, sums up my pursuit of my artistic self.
